Anabake – Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Anabake. By placing an order with us, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.
These guidelines help us maintain clarity, quality service, and a smooth experience for every customer.

1. Order Placement
1. Orders should be placed at least 5–10 days in advance depending on the cake size and complexity.
2. Large or custom-designed cakes may require longer notice of 14 days and above.
3. Orders are only confirmed after the customer provides all required details (date, design, size, flavor, event type).

2. Payment Terms
1. Full payment is required before production or delivery.
2. For large or high-value orders of a hundred thousand and above, a non refundable deposit (usually 50% of the total cost) may be required to secure the order.
3. Payments can be made via bank transfer, POS, online payment, or any approved method displayed on our website or shared by our representative.

3. Refunds & Cancellation Policy
1. Cancellations must be made at least 72 hours before the pick up or delivery date for standard cakes, and at least 5 days in advance for custom cakes.
2. Deposits are non-refundable once work has started or ingredients have been purchased for the order.
3. If a cancellation is made on time, Anabake may offer:
- A partial refund (excluding expenses already incurred), or
- A credit note for future orders.
4. No refunds will be issued for:
- Same day cancellations
- Missed pick-ups
- Incorrect information provided by the customer
5. Refunds, where applicable, may take up to 5–10 business days to be processed.

4. Design, Colors & Customization
1. While we make every effort to replicate designs provided by customers, exact duplication is not guaranteed due to artistic interpretation and food safe materials.
2. Colors on screens (e.g., WhatsApp, Instagram) may differ from actual cake colors due to lighting and device settings.
3. Customers should review all details before final confirmation.

5. Delivery & Pick Up
1. Delivery is available based on location and may attract a delivery fee.
2. Delivery times are approximate; delays may occur due to traffic or unforeseen circumstances.
3. Once a cake is delivered or picked up, Anabake is no longer responsible for damage caused by:
- Improper handling
- Heat exposure
- Poor transportation conditions
4. Customers picking up cakes should ensure proper packaging and transportation (e.g., flat surface, air conditioned car).

6. Storage & Handling
1. Buttercream cakes should be refrigerated and taken out 10–20 minutes before serving.
2. Fondant cakes should be kept in a cool, dry place—not the refrigerator.
3. Once handed over, proper storage is the customer’s responsibility.

7. Allergies & Special Dietary Requests
1. Customers must inform Anabake of any allergies at the time of ordering.
2. While we can avoid certain ingredients, our kitchen may process items containing nuts, gluten, dairy, or eggs.
3. Anabake is not liable for allergic reactions where full disclosure was not provided.

8. Quality Assurance
Anabake is led by a certified Food Scientist and Technologist with a Master’s degree in Food Quality Control and Assurance, backed by years of industry experience in hospitality and food safety.
We maintain strict hygiene, safety, and quality standards at all stages of production.

9. Photography & Social Media
1. Anabake reserves the right to photograph products made in our studio.
2. Images may be used on our website or social media for promotional purposes unless a customer requests otherwise before order completion.

10. Liability
1. Anabake is not responsible for:
- Damages after pick-up or delivery
- Delays caused by incorrect customer details
- Events beyond our control (traffic delays, weather, strikes, emergencies)
2. In extremely rare cases where Anabake cannot fulfill an order, customers will receive:
- A full refund, or
- A credit for future use.
